This assessment is designed to help you discern any unintentional connections to false religions and bring clarity as you align your heart with the truth: there is only one true God, and Jesus is the only way to Him.

Before reviewing the list, let’s take a moment to pray: “Jesus, I invite You to show me if I—or any of my ancestors—have participated in or been involved with any of these groups. It’s natural for us to develop ways of protecting ourselves from pain and trauma. But Jesus invites us to lay those defenses down and trust Him instead. Let’s take a moment to reflect on how we’ve relied on self-protection, and surrender those areas to Him.

A vow is a human reaction to pain or fear. But whenever we choose to rely on human strength instead of the Lord, we’re turning to something man-made—something that ultimately can’t hold us up (Jeremiah 17:5). Instead of the inner vow protecting us from more pain, it often leads us into the very situation we fear. That’s because we are striving in our own flesh to protect ourselves, instead of resting in God’s love and protection.

Heavenly Father, because of the people who have hurt me during my life, I have believed lies, made inner vows and judgments that I foolishly believed would protect me from further harm. I have depended upon the power of my own will to insulate me from what others would do to me. The hardening of my heart caused by these Inner Vows has affected my mind, will, emotions, and body. I now see that this has caused many further problems by alienating me from the people around me. This has only led to more fear, distrust, suspicion, and hurt in my life. Father, here are the vows and judgment I have made and the lies I have believed that You have brought to mind:

In the Name of Jesus Christ, I break each and every one of these inner vows, judgments, and lies and the curses they have placed on my life. I declare their power over my life to be null and void. Father, I realize that by making these Inner Vows, I placed my trust in them, rather than in Your power, mercy, and love. By trusting in myself instead of in You, I have created roadblocks to receiving the healing of my inner hurts and wounds that I so desperately desire.

Father, I have sinned by not trusting You, and I repent of my sin right now, in the Name of Jesus Christ, my Lord. It is not by my Inner Vows, but by His stripes that I am healed.

I thank you, Father, for forgiving me of the sin of having placed my trust in something other than You. I ask that You heal my inner hurts and wounds, and remove all traces of these Inner Vows from my spirit so that they will never again affect me, or the people around me. Help me quickly renew my mind so that I will not fall back into any of the old, destructive patterns of thought and behavior that were brought about by the Inner Vows I have now repented of and broken. I ask that You release healing and restoration into the relationships that I unwittingly have helped to destroy, through the forces set in motion by my old Inner Vows.

Father, give me the freedom from the past that will allow me, with Your guidance, to reconstruct every relationship that must be renewed. If any repentance is necessary on my part, please show me the timing and the extent to which You would have me repent. As you go through it, ask the Holy Spirit to gently reveal any names—people you’ve spoken about (out loud, in your heart, or in your thoughts)—including yourself and even God. 💢 Anger, Hatred, and Revenge I hated them. I hope they suffer like I did. I want them to feel my pain. I wish something bad would happen to them. I want them to pay for what they did. I hope they get what they deserve. I don’t care if they go to hell. I want revenge. I hope they lose everything. I want to make them hurt like I hurt. 🧊 Bitterness and Resentment I can’t stand them. I will never forgive them. I don’t care if I ever see them again. I’ll never forget what they did to me. I still replay what happened over and over. I want them to admit they were wrong. I resent everything about them. I’m still angry every time I think about them. I hold this over them so they’ll know I was right. I want everyone to know what they did to me. 🛑 Judgments and Inner Vows I will never trust them again. I’ll never let anyone treat me like that again. I will never let my guard down again. I’ll never open my heart again. I will never be that vulnerable again. I will never speak to them again. I will never believe someone like that again. I will never be that stupid again. I will not forgive unless they apologize first. 😔 Pain, Rejection, and Self-Protection I feel dead inside when I think about them. I can’t forgive—it hurts too much. I don’t know how to let this go. I feel like forgiving would make it seem okay. I’m afraid if I forgive, they’ll hurt me again. I don’t want to feel anything toward them. I pretend I’m fine, but I’m still bleeding inside. I smile, but I’m full of resentment. 💬 Spiritual Conflicts I’ve forgiven them, but I still hate them. I prayed, but I don’t feel any different. I asked God to help me forgive, but I don’t want to. I know I should forgive, but I don’t think they deserve it. I feel like God let me down by letting this happen. I’m mad at God for not protecting me.

The Word of God confirms that Jesus bore my confessed sins on the cross and that He no longer holds them against me (1 Peter 2:24). I also understand that no one but Jesus deserved forgiveness and that You will forgive me of my sins with the same measure that I choose to forgive others (Matthew 6:14-15). Father, I have sinned.

You didn’t protect me. You didn’t take care of me when I couldn’t take care of myself. You betrayed me when I trusted you. You gave me away. You used me. You taught me to be prideful. You didn’t get help for your own trauma and hurt me because you were hurt. You made me responsible for your emotional needs when it wasn’t my responsibility. What other people said was more important that what I said. Your feelings are more important that my feelings. It’s not my fault he/she left. It’s not my fault that he/she was not a good person. It’s not my fault that they hurt you. I wasn’t suppose to be the adult. You were the adult. You stole my childhood. I don’t want to be the dad/mom anymore. That’s your role. Grow up! You try to control and manipulate you. It’s all about you and what you want. I’m not your Savior. It’s not my job to make you feel better. You just need to grow up and be responsible. I’m not your protector. It’s not my job to protect you. Stop accusing other people and look at yourself. You are not perfect. Stop expecting everyone else to be perfect. I can’t trust anyone because of you. I have been overlooked because of you. You keep speaking negative words over me. I’m not that person. You don’t take care of the people I love. You put them in danger a lot. --------- What other statements would you add here about the people in your life, including yourself and God? Don’t be afraid to be specific. For example: * You don’t let me see my grandchildren. You drink and do drugs in front of them and put them in unsafe situations. * Every time we talk, you talk the entire time about all the things you are worried about, and never ask me what’s going on in my life. I repent of all my sins and turn away from every demonic spirit of judgement and bitterness I’ve allowed into my life. Forgive me and wash me clean. Right now, I receive Your love and forgiveness.

Holy Spirit, thank you for revealing your truth to me about the judgements I’ve been holding against others. Father God, forgive me for placing myself as judge over them and myself. You are the only true judge, so I release all judgements made against ________ (fill-in the blank with the names of those people on your list).

God, I know you have forgiven me, so I also forgive these people who have hurt me. I release all pain, trauma, and unforgiveness towards them in Jesus Name. I specifically release judgments that I’ve made about them that

If you answered “YES,” Psalms 103:3 says that God forgives all sins, and heals all diseases.” Actually, Jesus has already healed you when He died on the cross, so now it’s time to walk in that healing by declaring the word of God over our body, soul, and spirit.

If you agree with the words below, speak them out loud with boldness and receive the manifestation of your healing today.

I declare that I am a child of God. All of my sins are forgiven and all diseases are healed because I believe Jesus is the son of God who died on the cross for my sins and took my sickness upon Himself. Jesus was buried and rose again to declare healing in my body and my family. I receive that healing now, in Jesus Name!

I speak to sickness and disease today and proclaim that they must bow down to the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Philippians 2:10)

God’s word declares that nothing shall harm me. I command every germ, every virus that touches my body to die. I command every organ, every cell, every muscle, every tissue to function the way God created them to function and that no malfunction shall come upon me. (Luke 10:19)

I speak to my body today and declare that I have authority over it. I command my body to function the way God created it to function. (Matthew 8:17)

I command every sickness and disease (list them out loud)........

Jesus, you bore my sins and sicknesses. Now I am free of them. Jesus, when you suffered my sickness, by Your stripes I am healed. (1 Peter 2:24)

Jesus bore my sickness and carried my pain. Therefore I give no place to sickness or pain. For God sent His word and healed me. (Psalms 107:20)

Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law, having become a curse for me. The blood of Jesus flows through my blood restoring life and health. (Galatians 3:13)

I claim the promise of healing for my body now, by faith in God’s word; and I thank You, Lord, that the very source of my sickness is destroyed and that, according to Jesus’ promise, I shall recover. In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the sickness to leave and every symptom to be destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ.

I take you at your word, Lord. I rebuke the enemy, satan, which has caused my suffering. I resist this oppression of the devil and I command this sickness to leave. (Acts 10:38)

The grace and life of Jesus which now live in me, heal me of all sin and disease. I am saved. I am healed. I am free.

I thank you, Father, that every cell in my body responds to Your word. Your word permeates my body from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. I confess that the word of God is being made flesh in me.

Healing is mine because Jesus paid the price two thousand years ago. No longer do I have to walk in sickness and disease. I declare that I am free.

I am so thankful that I no more need to bear my own sickness than I need to bear my sins, because you, Lord, have revealed Christ to me.
